So much for apple being the sexy-est with Ipod .. lol well heres my review on Creatives Zen Micro Photo. I got it in silver. Though black might me more my usual choice but the back is white soo ... yeah silver is a better choice
I know thats a micro but the microphoto isnt much diff
And its much smaller than the old ipod video. This easily fits into the hand, well it fits mine at any rate .. lol
See it fits that guys hand too..
At any rate its a lot smaller and as for looks i guess its not that bad either i mean it looks much better without that stupid display cardboard thing .. sheesh talk about stupid people.. fire the advertising company please .. lol they make the mp3 look crappy..
So anyway Creative Zen micro photo has a colour screen and i suppose could be comparable to the ipod photo and i would say Creative has a better system , not like ipods which have to be formatted to be used on windows or it'll crash .. wth is with that .. how many people actually USE a mac .. sheesh. Anyway Creative is known for their sound blaster so it would be safe to say their sound quality would be better.
The user interface is probably about the same, although i would prefer the ipods scroll wheel which is .. sweet ha .But the creative one serves its purpose and in a sense is actually better than a scroll wheel in the sense when you want to scroll down a long way its easier to hold the down rather than do circular motions with your finger and end up looking dumb . Take it from me , its not fun lol ...
Creative also has a backdrop for the screen and its set on this cool blue water ripple which i must say is very pleasant on the eye and more than makes up for the screen looking a little less classy than ipods. Also i bring up the fact that any removal of tracks for ipod must be done via computer , while you can delete tracks right off the mp3 for the Zen Micro Photo. Also the Zen Micro Photo allows for drag and drop while the ipod has to go through itunes although it is better if you use windows media player to sync the tracks for the Zen but well its better cos you can remove stuff from it while you are unable to remove anything from the ipod. Its a one way trip.
So the Zen can actually be used as a giant 8 gig thumb drive. hoo yeah .
On to appearance , althought the ipod looks classier with its distinct scroll wheel the zen more than makes up for it with the cool blue light. Not only does it have a blue backlight the light shines through the rim as well . Meaning a cool blue light surrounding your entire mp3 , while the backlight is on of course. Also there is a blue light for the hold button. As in when its on hold, there is a small blue light shining out so you can easily locate the hold button.
Though the ipod screen is better in the sense that it is easy to see the screen in bright or poor light than it is to see the Zen's . But hey, you take and give a little . Plus creative gives you a few nifty free pictures of scenery and stuff, of course theyalso include stupid disgusting advert photos . but i've deleted those. ha ..
Right i'll leave it at that and i have to say i'm actually rather pleased with the Zen Micro Photo, sim wong who?.... lol sorry couldnt resist , bad joke .
